1 Judge Browdee Has Eight Foes to Beat Alabama Colt Is After His Second Win of Sportsmans Meet in Swing On Purse SPORTSMANS PARK, Cicero, 111., May 10. Judge Browdee, the Chicago-owned speedster who is batting .500 in two starts at the current "Sportsmans Park meeting, looms as the slight choice in Tuesdays feature ,000 Swing On Purse at five furlongs. The three-year-old son of Alabama Good Mint, was returned an easy winner in his first start at the Cicero track oh April 28 when he turned back Lori-Jane and other good sprinters in a five-furlong race. In his last start the bay colt, owned by Mrs. Laverne Malo and Charles Swan, was a badly beaten sixth in a longer seven-furlong affair, which was won by Lori-Jane. At the shorter five-furlong distance. The Judge is expected to be on top most of the way, if not all the way. He showed plenty of early speed in both of his Sportsmans Park races this year. Gorgeous Miss Has Early Speed Tom G. Bensons Gorgeous Miss, who showed flashes of early foot in her most recent effort at Sportsmans Park on May 4, shapes up as the runner-up for the laurels in Tuesdays Ladies Day feature. C. De Witt Boyds Run Red Run, winner of two races at Hot Springs, is making his first start at the meeting, while Foxie Jeanie, one half of the Marion H. VanBerg entry, and Marshaweista, the latter not having started here. William Hal Bishop Stables entry of Darlin Ann and Lovin Lady, Oldehove Stables Bull Hierocles, and Charles R. Kelleys Flying Bry complete the field. Darlin Ann was a winner here on May 7 in a five-furlong affair, while her running mate was unplaced in her only effort here. Flying Bit topped her rivals by a photo finish to pay a 4.00 mutuel. Bull Hierocles was out of the money in both of his races at the meeting.
