Gale Osborne Increases Beulah Saddling Tallies to Thirteen BEULAH PARK, Grove City, Ohio, May 29. — The weather man provided rain last night and early this morning, and in consequence the racing strip was off while classed as muddy for the first time during the past 12 days. However, the near 10,000 racing fans had little trouble in selecting the choices, and they lived up to expectations in the first few events. Trainer Gale Osborne saddled his thirteenth winner in the fourth race here this afternoon and made it two for the day in the same number of events. He sent out D. Wades Assemblance to be returned a good two and one-half lengths winner over Glenn Lotz* Disical and, with jockey Norman Hart in the saddle, was clocked the six furlongs in 1:15% in the muddy going. Osborne also saddled E. C. Piatts Lena Deen in the opener, the first half of the Daily Double, and that aged Bold and Bad mare made it to the wire five lengths the best of H. Bowshier Jr.s Zonta Girl. The latter was scheduled to be ridden by jockey Cpjin Knisjey, "-that but .jockey Guillgr,ma ,£Hva replaced rider.. Hart also piloted Lena. Deen, giving him two winners also in the first races on the card. The second half of the Daily Double was Mr. and Mrs. R. Conners Oatburner, which had the saddle services of jockey J. C. Fernandez. The sequence as a 2-9 combination was worth 7.80.
