On the Move Wrenches Back in Playa del Rey HOLLYWOOD PARK, Inglewood, Calif., May 29. — On the Move, favorite in Thursdays Playa del Rey Stakes, wrenched her back when she reared in the gate, according to trainer Tommy Taylor. Although he doesnt feel the injury is serious Taylor said the injury was hurting the Mafosta filly after the race and obviously retarded her in the stretch. Taylor also reported that Southarlington, who was fired Monday, probably will not return until Del Mar opens. Blessed Gal, second in the Playa del Rey, suffered a scraped foreleg but the injury is -minor, according to owner-trainer Ell-wood Johnston. The remaining sophomore fillies in the race apparently came out in good shape.
