E AWIWI rushed boldly on the outside to assume command into the stretch and withstood a sustained drive to outfinish BOUQUET BILLY. The latter forced the pace from the start and was pressing at the end. GREEK STADIUM, in hand while reserved within striking distance of the leaders, came to the extreme outside losing ground and was unable to reach the leaders. FAIRIAM saved ground to better late position. FEN FIRE showed speed for six furlongs and tired. ARLETOD weakened after six furlongs. FOX RUN and ARBITTERS were outrun.
