TITANS MATCH outbroke the field, shook off challengers rounding the far turn and continued well under punishment to hold the opposition safe. AIR ROCKET was a sharp factor racing next to the rail, could not stay with the winner on the turn, but finished well to best ROCK PIGEON. The latter bore out slightly at the far turn, remained a keen factor, but again drifted very wide through the stretch. GREAT MOGUL made a good run around horses on the turn, then tired. LIBERTY ANDY lacked a response. JETAIR was crowded back at the far turn. TURKISH GOLD dwelt at the start and had no chance. QUICK IMP was rated closest to CIRCUS GAL, came around that one to assume command on the stretch turn and resDonded under urging to repulse YOUNG COLONY. The latter was steered inside of the top pair rallying on the turn, loomed boldly midstretch, but was not good enough. VALLEY KING was steadied while being outrun, rallied from the head of the stretch and closed with good belated speed. CIRCUS GAL, hustled to the front, set an even pace to the stretch and faltered. Won driving; second and third the same. STORMY PETREL was lightly urged to remain within striking distance, closed resolutely in company with BLIMEY when hard ridden in the final furlong and gained a narrow decision, finishing next to the rail. BLIMEY, steadied while outrun, made a rapid move rounding the turn, was given a light breather at the head of the stretch, then drove into a narrow opening between the leaders and finished, resolutely. MR. FIRST willingly raced to the pace on the final turn, appeared ready to take command, but hung. WAR OF ROSES easily settled into a good position, was rated along behind the leaders In the final turn, then quickly wrested command from the outside when punished and continued gamely. RED HANNIGAN smoothly raced to the front entering the backstretch and opened a clear lead, held sway into the stretch, offered little resistance when displaced by the winner, but then held on well, HIGH GUN troke in the air and was badly crowded leaving the gate by CORRELATION, gamely recovered to gradually race into closer contention on the outside and finished determinedly, FULL FLIGHT raced in closest attendance to the pace down the backstretch, appeared mildly dangerous when roused on the final turn, but weakened. FOR FREE found an opening on the final turn and rallied well. CORRELATION swerved in leaving the gate, bumped with PINETUM at the first turn and was taken back to last, made a mild run outside of horses down the backstretch, had to be steadied attempting to lug in at the far turn, then came around rivals into the stretch, cut over sharply to the rail passing the furlong marker and was gaining but little at the end.
