Won driving; second and third the same. SILVER BLUE was nicely rated while setting the pace and withstood the extended challenge of PROWL. The latter pressed the pace of the winner throughout, but was not good enough. SCARLET CLOVER made up ground through the final furlong. TIME FOR FUN moved between horses to become a factor on the turn, but lacked the needed late rallyr DOLL FOOT failed to enter contention. HAPPY MYRTLE was through early. SOFT PEDAL quit after a half mile. VIRGINIA OAKS showed nothing and came back lame. SONGAI was always formidable and held on well. HUG UP weakened through the stretch. DOTTIE DEAR displayed good speed for a half mile and faltered. BYE AND BYE retained her position while weakening.
