Jug to Carry 0,000 Purse " DELAWARE, Ohio, June 4. The Little Brown Jug for three-year-old pacers here Sept. 23 will be a 0,000 race, a new high for any pacing race, Joe Neville, speed superintendent at the track, announced today. Neville also announced that purses during the four-day grand circuit racing opening Sept. 20 will be close to 55,000, a record high for the track. Neville said that purses on Jug Day will be about 0,000. In addition to the feature race, three other races will be run including the Ohio Standardbred Futurity for two-year-olds, a 2,000 event which is a preview for next years Jug.
