Persley Solid Choice Over t Maddox in Tonights TV Go Arthur Persley, a top ranking lightweight who has won 41 bouts while losing three, is a solid favorite to defeat youthful Tommy Maddox Saturday night in the national television feature bout from Rain-bo Arena. It will be Persleys third Rainbo appearance on TV and in both previous shows, he won decisively over Phil Kim and Henry Davis. His last major victory, also on TV, was over Armand Savoie on March 31. Maddox, 20, has won his last four starts for an overall record of 13 victories, three draws and six defeats. Maddox, five feet, eleven inches tall, will have a height and weight advantage over Persley, five feet, five inches tall.
