Grand Circuit Sport to Open At Hazel Raceway Monday COLUMBUS, Ohio, June 4. Officials of the Grand Circuit said today that two and three-year-old stake horses, including leading candidates for the 15,000 Hamble-tonian Stake and the 0,000 Little Brown Jug, will meet for the first time this season at Hazel Park, Mich. The six-night stand of Grand Circuit racing will be conducted June 7 to 12, and will mark the first visit of the Roarin Grand to the five-eighths mile oval in suburban Detroit. The circuit schedule opened May 12 at Yonkers Raceway and continues through November 20. TheHazel Park program lists four ,000 added money events for two and three-year-olds in each gait and a pair of 0,000 free for alls, the Detroit Trotting Derby June 11 and the Detroit Pacing Derby June 12.
