Rose Leaves Closes Today DETROIT RACE COURSE, Livonia, Mich, June 4. Racing secretary-handicap -per Charles J. McLennan again calls attention of turfmen to the closing of entries Saturday, June 5, for the 5,000 Rose Leaves Stakes. Fillies and mare, three-year-olds and upward, are eligible to the Rose Leaves, which will be renewed at six furlongs here this season on Saturday, June 19.
