BEWITCHING, slow to attain best stride, was sent Into closer contention entering the stretch, but under brisk urging was unable to endanger the winner. SELECTIVE held sway for five furlongs, then flattened when punished. DAWTY lacked a rally. FIGHTING WISE tired. B00TLET caught tiring horses. SANCTUARY was outrun. GLORIOUS EMMA failed to stay. LADY ATOM, always within striking distance, was carried extremely wide on the final turn, and continuing in the middle of the track after recovering, readily took command inside the sixteenth marker and won going away. PET REWARD, a sharp factor from the beginning, was unable to cope with the late challenge of the winner, but held on willingly to outgame FLAT iiSIDE. The latter forged to the front at the furlong marker, but shortened stride thereafter when punished. GEOMETRIC raced evenly through the late stages without mishap. WINSOME WIDOW rallied too belatedly to become an endangering factor. TERRELL quit SING AND DANCE, forced wide on the near turn, was unable to recover. BLANQUITA, shuffled back slightly on the far turn, came fast after being guided to the outside for the drive and was up in the final stride to gain the nod. LAP 0 LUXURY worked her way forward to gain; a contending positkih leaving the final turn, responded to clever handling during the drive and finished courageously. POMME DOR slipped through next to the rail to replace the leader at the furlong marker, then held on determinedly in a sharp effort. TANTE FLORENCE, much used early, had little left MY KEELY gave way suddenly inside the stretch. PR0MIS0RY failed to stay. TOURMALINE lacked a rally. RUSH ALONG never menaced. FABULOUS VEGAS, permitted to settle into best stride, was forced to take up sharply when in close quarters entering the stretch, recovered readily to forge , between horses for the drive and was along in the concluding strides to prevail over CHRIS CROSS. The latter, alternated in pressing and setting the pace, gave way to APOLLO at the furlong marker, but came again to take command inside the stretch and held on willingly. APOLLO assumed a slight lead when shaken for the final test, but faltered thereafter when subjected to stern pressure OVERPRICED caught tiring horses. PRINCE PANIA tired. HYVANIA, forwardly placed throughout, was unable to withstand the winner when the real test came. NEJI failed to sufficiently respond when hard ridden through the late stages. ONEIDA quit. OUT POINT failed to stay. BEAUPRE never was dangerous. EXTRA POINTS, poorly ridden, was repeatedly guided from the inside to the outside while within striking distance early and had nothing left when set down for the drive.
