SIR RHYMER saved ground while outrun to the etch, responded willingly when sent to the middle of the track for the drive and wore down the leaders in : last sixteenth. ELS FOLLY, well placed from the start, reached the lead between calls during the stretch i but was unable to hold the winner. FRABOTTA, a keen factor from the start, took command approaching ? stretch but faltered during the drive. CELTIC SPIRIT moved up fast between horses entering the stretch, iched the lead but attempted to bear in during the final furlong and could not be persevered with in the late ges. LIMIT GREENIE was outrun and had no mishap. SMOOTH PALM was never dangerous. COMPENSATOR nt to the front at once, set the pace until challenged by FRABOTTA, then gave way. NICKLEBY, outrun to the stretch, made up ground during the drive, : was unable to threaten the leaders. SHIFTY DORA moved up fast after the start, took command from CKIEVAN nearing the stretch and settled for the drive with a clear lead, then weakened. JACKIE VAN had •ly foot, but failed to stay. BILLS HYGRO was outrun and had no excuse. EQUIMORE began fast, but failed stay. JAY CEE tired after racing well to the stretch. KING FREEDOMS showed nothing. . The latter steadily worked way forward to the stretch, reached the lead between, calls during the drive and lasted to finish on equal terms with RED SULTAN. MAKE A NOTE went" to the front early, set the pace to the stretch, then drifted out while tiring, and failed to retain her advantage. YOUNG FELLOW lacked early foot and was never dangerous. The latter, outrun early, was caught in close quarters near the furlong pole, finished willingly when finally clear but could not overtake END TABLE. A foul was claimed against END TABLE by BROWN BRUTUS rider but was not allowed after the stewards viewed the film patrol pictures. BLUE HILLS raced evenly in a sharp effort and had no mishap. ABSOLUTE raced nearest SMART EVE until inside the stretch; was in tight quarters during the drive and faltered near the finish. SMART EVE went to the front early, made the pace until inside the stretch, lacked racing room during the last sixteenth and tired. WAIT UP could not keep up.
