California Sales Summary POMONA, Calif., June 24.— The Califor- nia Thoroughbred Breeders Association and Fasig-Tipton Company joined forces to put on a sale of miscellaneous stock at the L. A. County Fair Grounds here Monday afternoon. The sale was conducted in an open air arena and a crowd estimated ax 350 horsemen paid a total of 7,250 for 69 head of horses, an average of 75. , Star of the sale was the bay two-year-old colt, Valiant Ace, a winner this spring. The son of With Regards — Glory Time, by War Glory was consigned by Mrs. Thelma Sneed, and fetched ,200 with owner-trainer H. C. "Bill" Belk making the successful bid.
