JODISU gained the lead soon after the start, was steadied when displaced entering the far turn and then came on again along the rail inside the furlong marker. TRACK WISE moved from the outside to wrest command racing to the far turn, and was then unable to hold the top one through the late stretch. BULLBEE was slow to gain best stride, raced extremely wide on the turns and was probably the best. ICECAPADE lacked a sufficient rally. GOODNITE KISS was slow to gain best stride. EPONA tired. The latter showed in front momentarily just above the furlong marker and then hung. DILLIFILLY lacked a sufficient rally. CORTINA improved her position in the latter stages. ADAR showed little. BEACH ADMIRAL closed willingly while between horses. PODOLOFF loomed the most dangerous turning for home and then faltered. MR. HURRY lacked a rally. GOLDEN TEMPEST tired, as did BIRDIE LULLEY.
