Sharbot Seeks Fourth Tally at Detroit Meet in Plymouth High Twelve Purse Rose Leaves Stakes Victress Has Bated Breath, Beanir Among Her Six Female Foes By DON FAIR Staff Correspondent DETROIT RACE COURSE, Livonia, Mich., June 28. Tamarack Stables Sharbot, a speedy four-year-old daughter of Pavot and Bright Blue, heads a field of seven classy fillies and mares scheduled to meet Tuesday afternoon in the Plymouth High Twelve Purse. Under the allowance conditions of the six-furlong feature, the Tamarack Stable miss will shoulder equal high weight of 117 pounds with G. Y. Bookers hard-hitting Mad Hare. Trainer C. P. Sowers, who conditions Sharbot, also will send Starboard Stables Bafed Breath along with Sharbot and the former mare gets in the dash with 114 pounds. Sharbot unquestionably will go to the post the favorite. The Tamarack filly, a bargain claim in Florida last April for a ,000 price tag, has shown steady improvement under Sowers tutelage and captured the fifth running of the 0,000 Rose I I Leaves Stakes here on June 19, defeating, among others, Sun Tan Gal, Task Fleet, Slippy, Sickles Image, Mad Hare, and Mrs. Otto C.
