VanBerg Buys Gay Hunter DETROIT RACE COURSE, Livonia, Mich., June 28. Marion H. VanBerg, Columbus, Nebr., turfman, purchased the six-year-old Hunters Moon IV.-sired stallion, Gay Hunter, from Thomas F. Deve-reux at private terms: Pat Devereux, who formerly trained Gay Hunter, represented the Devereux stable in the transaction.
