All-Claiming Program At River Downs Today High Climber Seeks Third Local Score in Cedar Hill Farm Purse RIVER DOWNS, California, Ohio, June 28. Tuesdays eight-race card, the twenty-second day of this 44-day meeting, will register the half-way mark. For the day racing secretary and handicapper Eugene W. Bury has carded all claiming races, with the most valuable assortment being a two-year-old maiden affair, where the chargesejyaliied"tand5J0A i The seventh, as the feature, is entitled the Xtedar Hill Farm. This brings together 13 in all on the overnights of the ,500 plater sort. The conditions require that they be four-year-olds or older and the staging for the competition in quest of a portion of the ,200 purse is one and one-sixteenth miles. Though this band is not a representation of some of the better campaigners stabled on the ground, each of those which accepted the issue for the feature have good records for the year. High Climber, Mr. and Mrs. Peter Maxwells five-year-old Challedon gelding, is 6ne of thelnqrjejconistent sort sjjygjhwas schooled to leave the gate with his field. In his first outing here, amid some rather fair ,000 platers he dwelt and subsequently was not a threat in that company. He followed that exhibition with a one and three-quarters lengths victory over Mrs. F. Baumans Jerky, then came right back to score again, this time by a head in the same sort of company and completed the mile and one-sixteenth in 1:44 over a fast track. The two consecutive victories were earned over a heavy and a fast strip, respectively, signifying that he can handle, most any kind of surf ace. In the wake of High Climbers most recent victory were D. Yolpes Bobbys Dream, H- sh8M?KJSydneV H-ja -Masons Kapeika and H., Balchs Ski Slope. This latter grouPsmakes up part of the field that will again, be matching strides. Rounding out the remainder of the field are P. L. Rices Poinsette, another frequent visitor to the winners circle this year; F. H. Swaims La Shirl, K. Hodges Bold Gal, P. H. Johnsons Dark Rain, T. Robinsons Alamahd, G. M. Jamiesons Proudfoot and Mrs. A. Travis Brownies Girl.
