BLUE SICKLE caught tiring horses with a belated rush. OMEN shook off BRANDY PUNCH after five furlongs, drew clear, was displaced by the winner and retired steadily. PROMPT BOY was unable to keep up. TONY JAY saved ground to no avail. PAULINE GROSS rallied to be near the leaders and faltered. ANDY PUNCH quit.
