Leeling Holds 17-Point Edge In Ak-Sar-Ben Jockey Race AK-SAR-BEN, Omaha, Nebr., June 28. Wendell Leeling, Harrison, Nebr., jockey who has been Iqading rider at Omaha since the first week of the current Ak-Sar-Ben meeting, continues to lead the rider pack as this meeting goes into its final week. Leeling has 23 winners, 15 seconds and 19 thirds for a total of 187 points under Ak-Sar-Bens point-award system which credits jockeys with six points for a winner, two for a second and one for a third. Charles lies, Coolidge, Ariz., is . second with 170 points, and Celestino Dominguez, apprentice from Manasa, Colo., is third with 157. Victor Bovine, Phoenix, Ariz., veteran, was up on three winners Saturday to push his total to 153 points for fourth place.
