Braves Sign Upsala Star MILWAUKEE, Wis., June 21 UP .Bob Ellis, 22, Upsala College shortstop from Bergenfield, N. J., signed a Beaumont, Texas, contract for option to another club, the Milwaukee Braves said today. Ellis, five feet, 10 inches, 170 pounds, was a member of the NCAA All-Star team last year. He was graduated at Upsala this year.
