ATOMIC KISS, never far back, assumed command from the outside on leaving the backstretch, drew out under pressure and was hard ridden to hold KING FOR ALL safe. The latter, blocked along the inside for the first half mile, came to the outside to make his bid on the second turn and was slowly getting to the winner. QUARTER-MASTER also raced wide and was clearly best of the others. JOE HASTE passed only tiring horses. HILL STREET was used up early. HY-SUE was through early. ETERNE showed some early speed.
