AMBOR REIGH, away sluggishly and outrun to the - stretch, swerved repeatedly when set down in the drive but was up to dispose of UNCLE SUGAR in the last strides. The latter raced JOHN B. into defeat entering the stretch and settled for the drive with a clear lead but could not withstand the winner. MR. DUTY gave a good effort and had no excuse. JULIE BUSHER was unable to stay, with the leaders-when caught in close quarters nearing the finish. KNOBVIEW HOOLY lacked early foot. BLARNEY JACK had a rough trip. GOLDEN HIND was never dangerous. CONTROVERSITY gradually worked way forward to the stretch, responded willingly when set down in the drive and disposed of the leaders in the last sixteenth. SUN-SONG, a sharp factor from the start, was much used racing with OPEN WAY until inside the stretch, then was unable to withstand the top one. OPEN WAY began fast, raced with SUN-SONG after the start and settled in the stretch with a short lead, then faltered. DOGEIANA raced evenly without mishap BABY LAKE failed to rally when .set down for the drive. SIDS BIRTHDAY drifted out durina hp ct-otr.f, sir jhET could not keen im. SPEEDY FOOT, well placed from the start, took command after leaving the upper turn, settled for the stretch run with a clear lead and drew clear when ridden out. SWEEPING FLAG, never far back, closed resolutely but could not reach the winner, although easily best of the others. FIREY IMP tould not better her position when set down through the stretch. HERES JAKE lacked early foot and raced wide. SANDRAS BABY was never dangerous. TETU showed nothing. WRINKLE FREE could not keep up. HOMELY DUCHESS, crowded back after the break, failed to recover. GOLD FLASH raced evenly in a good effort and had no excuse. MOON LOVE saved ground throughout but failed to rally when set down in the drive. MIGHTY ROAN lacked early foot and raced wide. HUNT PLATE was never dangerous. JUST BARBARA tired after racing well to the stretch. LITTLE LIGE showed nothinq. ALDO KID raced far back throughout.
