1 Isayolboy Triumphant At Narragansett Park Passes Pacemaking Mr. August In Stretch for Narrow Victory By JOE HIRSCH NARRAGANSETT PARK, Pawtucket, R. I., June 21. Br-ydie Lane Stables Isayolboy, a recent ,000 claim, rushed down the middle of a sloppy strip to run down C and S Tassistros pacemaking Mr. August in the featured Cranston Purse and score by half a length with Three High Stables Bardasue another three and a half lengths behind Mr. August. A crowd of 10,267 looked on as mid-afternoon showers laced the course. Isayolboy returned 1.40 for his third triumph of the campaign, with Johnny Raia up, and circled the mile and 70 yards in 1:45. .The three-year-old Fairy Manhurst gelding was brought to New England by Roger Laurin and after winning one and finishing second in another, he was haltered by Brydie Lane. Mr. August and Mamselle duelled for the lead to the clubhouse turn with thej latter showing the way into the near turn. Curving into the backstretch, Mr. August had the rail but Mamselle was a half length in front and outside. Bardasue settled into third place down the far side and Isayolboy was running between horses in fourth position. Mr. August resumed the lead turning for home and was in front by three lengths at the eighth pole, heading for a score when Raia hustled Isayolboy wide, set him down for the drive and was able to overtake and pass Mr. August after the sixteenth pole. Bardasue held third money against a challenge from Tracer Light, part of an entry that went off as 5-to-2 choice. Dominave, a l-to-2 choice, and Bird Bell combined to pay 4.00 in the Daily Double.
