Primer Is Twin Win for Jones GOSHEN, Ky., June 21. The victory of Doc Eggers in the Primer Stakes Monday at Arlington Park was a double triumph for Warner L. Jones, Jr. The two-year-old colt not only became another stakes winner for Royal Gem II., the outstanding stallion that stands here at Jones Hermitage Farm, but he also is a three-quarter brother of a yearling filly that Jones will sell at the Keeneland Summer Sales, Monday afternoon. July 25. Doc Eggers is out of Balla Tryst. The dam of Jones Royal Gem II. filly is Bank Account, a stakes-winning daughter of Shut Out and Balla Tryst. j
