Install Bulls-Eye at Jamaica JAMAICA, L. I., N. Y., May 14.— Officials of the Greater New York Association yesterday installed a port-I able "bulls-eye," marking the finish of races at Jamaica. This fluorescent marker, which is attached to the black and white finish pole on the rail side, is an innovation on New York tracks and follows Saturdays editorial in Daily Racing Form advocating the installation of such a device to prevent the repetition of honest mistakes of the sort that occurred when Willie Shoemaker stood up after passing the sixteenth pole on Gallant Man in the Kentucky Derby.
