UNCLE SUGAR, never far back, lost ground going to the outside on the stretch turn but willinqlv wrested command and continued evenly in the middle of the track. CROWN DERBY had to be steadied while pocketed next to the rail rounding the far turn, came out . and between horses on the final turn and finished well. MIGHTY OAK was a sharp factor saving ground and i held on fairly well. ROMAN STRIPE was steadily urged gradually racing to the lead between calls on entering the stretch and weakened. NINA GIRL held a commanding lead into the stretch, swerved when punished and relinquished command to BAKER STREET, but straightened away after being headed and determinedly came again. BAKER STREET, steadied closest to the winner, was hard ridden from the final turn to take a brief lead and then hung. CAGEY MOVE raced on the outstfe improving position and finished gamely. The latter, steadied into the backstretch, gradually improved position and finished gamely despite drifting out. DEEP RUN was a prominent factor and held on well into the last sixteenth.
