CLOSE FINISH IN HEADLINER Apple Time Gets Up in Final Strides to Defeat Teeter Totter at Beulah Park Track. GROVE CITY, Ohio, June 8. Finishing with rare courage through the stretch, Mrs. H. Wieners Apple Time just got up in the last few yards to head Teeter Totter in the Aragon Grill Purse, featured offering at Beulah Park this afternoon. Sophist came from far back to outlast Oddesa Beau for the minor award. Miss Marie De Angelo made the presentation of the Aragon Grill Trophy to trainer Ht Wiener rafter the face. Ideal conditions prevailed and the sport was decidedly interesting, featured by numerous close and exciting finishes. It was only in the final stride that Donna Barona nosed out Oh Ray, the pacemaker, in the third number. Usay barely lasted to win the curtain raiser.
