While sixteen "blue law" bills against race betting, bank nights, raffles, etc., were being considered by committees in both houses of the legislature today, governor Allred, called in sixteen state senators to witness the formal, signing of. the Nelson mutuel repeal bill, which was passed last week. Bills have been introduced with great rapidity since the governors second message on the subject of gambling was read to yesterdays joint session. - i
