PRINCE ALEX hurried into a forward position, came through on the inside of the pacemaker entering he stretch and, closing with good courage, was up in the final strides. SOU FENG, weakly handled, was permitted to swerve out after reaching the stretch when beginning to move clear and held on well. BALANCE UP, eased back soon after the, start, worked her way forward on the outside until reaching the stretch, then was guided to the inside in the final drive. IDOLIZE closed ground in the late stages. DON GOMEZ was used up in the first half mile. WAUGH SCOUT broke fiat-footed and late. He had too much Jtaken out of him early and tired. BORO POKER moved to the front after eetting away in the first flight, raced AGA RAY into submission saved ground and drew out slowly under stiff pressure. SQUARE PLAY raced forwardly from the beginning and continued with good energy in the final test. JUSTA PILGRIM, on the outside while racing prominently, came willingly in the final test. GOLDEN EFFORT, away slowly, bettered his position on the outride and finished with good courage. GOLDEN DOT saved a lot of ground and raced evenly. AGA RAY raced stoutly for five-eighths, then tired. TIEMPO, rated back of the leaders, stole through on the inside of MORE POISE entering the stretch, but could not menace the winner. MORE POISE was rated while setting the pace, but tired, readily when caught. PEN-CADER was never able to improve his position. CHAUVIN and INFILEE both raced in dull fashion. LAFAYETTE BOY, under vigorous pressure after going into a short lead, withstood repeated challenges from the start, responded to severe punishment and, holding on gamely, barely lasted long enough. WAUGH POP, a tenacious factor from the start, followed lapped with the winner, was placed to punishment for the final test, but failed to gain, although holding on resolutely. WHOA BOY was close up from the start, luckily found racing room on the inside of the leaders at the stretch turn, and fought it out courageously. BLUE SHEETS worked his way forwardly on the outside and finished gamely. PARALLEL could not keep in a forward position. SING LOW tired after going a half mile. PICK OUT was outrun. THISWAY, reserved off the early pace, improved his position on the outside and closed gamely. CHILHEE tired after making a stout bid at the final curve. SIR DEAN was unable to enter contention. BRED IN BLUE quit badly after being caught. HEART PLAY was done early, hauled TAMBOV and was extended to the limit at the close.
