I AGAWAM TURF NOTES $ $ Jockey W. Cook, who incurred the ire of the stewards here a few days ago for rough riding, will be back in the saddle Tuesday. Cook is serving a five-day suspension. Mrs. Fay Panarella purchased the gelding Grey Man from Mrs. R. B. Watts for a private consideration. Benjamin Ladd Cook of Providence, former Rhode Island racing official, and Tim McCoy, of the cinema and Ringling Bros. Circus, were guests of general manager Edward J. Brennan at Agawam Park Saturday. Jockeys Albert Schmidl and George Rose entered Saturdays racing tied at fourteen winners each for the honor of being the leading rider here. Close at their heels is apprentice L. Dubois with thirteen winners. The stewards of the Agawam Racing Association were informed here Saturday that the Massachusetts Racing Association has continued the suspension of jockey W. G. Jackson until the close of the Massachusetts racing season, August 14. Jackson was set dQwn for a listless ride on Lucky Jean here on June 16.
