DArcy purchased the homebred Smoke Ring from D. J. Mulligan at private terms and he raced in his interest in the opening event on Friday. DArcy left the plater in charge of O. J. Mulligan, local trainer, L. Tassier purchased the homebred colt Lashaway from F. Thompson at private terms and turned him over to trainer H. Gibson.
