CHINESE EMPRESS had speed and, slipping through next the rail rounding the stretch turn, opened up a good lead and went gamely to the finish. GLEEMAN raced fairl ywell but did not run his best race. SOBRIETY lacked his early speed, raced wide in the stretch and could do better. MR. BLAZE quit badly in the run home. ALMA MAE had early speed. Overweight Alma Mae, 2 pounds.
