175 HANCOCK MARES FOAL LEXINGTON, Ky June 26. At A. B. Hancocks Claiborne and Ellerslie Studs this season 175 mares have foaled. As to sex, the produce is represented by ninety-eight fillies and seventy-seven colts. At Hal Price Headleys Beaumont Farm eighteen of the twenty-six foals are fillies. Walter J. Salmons Mereworth Stud, Inc., reports thirty-six foals, of which twenty-one are fillies. Robert J. Kleberge, Jr., and his brother Richard, a member of Congress from Texas, have been inspecting yearlings at several of the Kentucky breeding establishments this week.
