RIDERS HAVE THEIR TROUBLES AGUA CALIENTE, Mexico, June 26. Apprentice Charlie Pierce, who was unseated from Proud Santa in the fifth race Friday, escaped with a slight shaking up and was able to fill the remainder of his days engagements. Apprentice Jack Leonard, who had the riding assignment on Bad Boy in the sixth, race, became ill while in the jockeys quarters, and jockey W. Root was substituted to ride.
