! FASTEST RACE HORSES ! I EQUIPOISE was one of the fastest horses ever seen in com- 1 petition anywhere. He holds the worlds record for a mile, running the distance in 1:34 with 128 pounds up, at Arlington 1 Park, June 30, 1932. p ROSEBEN was one of Americas outstanding sprinters and f I marvelous weight carriers. He carried as high as 147 pounds in j smashing records at short distances. He still holds the worlds i record for seven-eighths of a mile, which he covered in 1:22, t . 1 October 16, 1906, with 126 pounds up.
