PASS EM BY IN GREAT FORM Registers Fourth Straight Success in Agawam Headliner Lafayette Boy Beats Waugh Pop. AGAWAM, Mass., June 26. Stamping himself as the best sprinter in the Berk-shires, Pass Em By, sturdy three-year-old from the Joseph Green stable, kept his racing record unstained for the present season when he conceded weight to older sprinters to register his fourth straight conquest in the Valley Arena Handicap, that topped a splendid program at Agawam Park today. Picking up 112 pounds, the shifty and honest son of By Pass II. Step Lively, covered the distance of six furlongs in 1:11, the best time set here since the meeting opened. He came to the last line of the journey, that engaged six starters, one length before H. L. Bowers High Hedge, while Bill Bleiweiss, lightly considered, took the measure of Bubblesome, Strategist II. and Four Spot. The Holyoke Handicap, co-feature for two-year-olds, proved one of the best juvenile j events staged here and it kept the record of Lafayette Boy from the A. Gaignard, Jr., stable on his winning streak when he triumphed for the third consecutive time. Meeting seven of the best youngsters on the grounds, the bay son of Michigan Boy turned in his usual honest performance to keep his record from being, broken when he led from the fall of the flag and scored in a camera finish over Waugh Pop. They came to the line separated by a head as Whoa Boy, from the Sage Stable, was a j similar margin away to lead home Blue j Sheets.
