SHADOW WALTZ, a forward factor from the start, followed in close attendance of the pace the first three-eighths, came to the outside of the pacemaker for the drive, closed with a rush and drew out in the last eighth. SOLILOQUY raced into the lead at once, was hustled along there, tired in the final eighth and outlasted CROWLAND LAD. The latter, well placed throughout, had no excuses. UVIRA raced evenly. STONE CHATTER raced on the outside throughout. ROMARCH, practically left at the post, was off poorly but made up eround. NEW BOOTS quit. The latter, a Torward factor from the start, tired badly in the last eighth. CUBANETTE forced the early pace, was caught in close quarters rounding the turn, dropped back, then raced evenly. FALER-MIAN raced evenly. RURAL SHOWER broke sidewise in the air when the start came and had no chance. FILANA, rated well back off the pace the first turn of the field, raced into command when the leaders left the course, drew away and was never seriously threatened. NO ROOM made up ground. SUPER POWER outrun early, then closed a big gap. BALLYMOTE moved up threateningly in the first mile, then quit. DUNLINS LAD, rated close to the pace in the first turn, moved into a slight lead going to the seventh fence, bolted through the wing carrying GALABANG with him, went back and finished the course. MASKETIER left the course at the twelfth fence but returned and finished the course. GALABANG was carried through the wing at the seventh fence and fell. Scratched 43782 Madding, 134. The latter, slow to settle into his best stride, closed with a rush through the final quarter mile. VEE EIGHT tired. COSTLIER was unable to improve its position under punishment. BATON DAMOUR raced forwardly placed from the start and had no mishaps. TAB HER, shuffled back soon after the start, closed with a rush through the final three-eighths. LUKE COMMONER moved up after going half a mile, then raced evenly. NORTHERN SIR raced evenly. LA SALLE tired. NEWELL quit badly! LITTLE JAY had brief speed.
