SPECTACULAR FINISH Little Nymph Captures Enquirer Handicap by a Head. Indian Head Is Second, a Head in Front of Woodberry More Than 8,000 Present. LATONIA, Ky., June 26. Superbly handled by diminutive Willie Lee Johnson and extremely lucky to get through a tight spot in the stretch, Mrs. R. J. Murphys courageous four-year-old filly, Little Nymph, gained an impressive head victory in the twentieth running of the Enquirer Handicap here this afternoon as a gathering of more than 8,000 spectators were thrilled by the close finish. Indian Head, from the stable of W. J. Sprow, was second with a head margin over L. B. .Combs Woodberry. Louise J. Hickmans Arabs Arrow collected fourth money in the lield of nine. The victory was worth ,315 to the Evans-ville, Ind., patron, as well as a silver trophy offered by the Cincinnati Enquirer and presented by Bob Saxton to Miss S. E. Kellogg, daughter of the owner of the winner. WOODBERRY TIRES.
