LEGAL DANCE shook off FOREIGN LADY rounding the lower turn and outlasted TAKA WALK in the final drive. TAKA WALK closed gamely. FOREIGN LADY faltered in the last strides. ARIELETTE showed good speed, but bore out slightly entering the stretch and. finished in a dead heat for fourth place with TITANICAL. TITANICAL, well up from the start, could not keep up. EAGER BELLE improved her position on the inside and closed strongly. EURYALUS made a determined bid, but was not good enough. THE BOUNCER and CAMPO tired. REWOT assumed a momentary lead in the stretch, but tired badly under a hard drive. PARALLEL Was practically left at the post. The others had no mishaps. MICKEYS BOY responded to severe urging in the stretch and closed gamely. MEETING PLACE failed to respond under pressure. BRAVO CARUSO tired at the end. MORCRY was pulled up after going a quarter. SALESTAX, a strong factor from the start and close up, closed resolutely in the middle of the track, assuming command in thp final stridps. YOUNG PLAYTIME worked his way up rounding the far turn and went to the front entering the stretch but could not withstand the rush of the winner. DICK WEIDEL outlasted SPEY FOX. The latter faltered at the end. ROLLS NICE, fractious at the barrier, started from outside the gale and was away nicely, but quit. The others had no mishaps. Scratched— 73014 Hard Rock, 112.
