U. S. STEEL PLANS LOCAL OFFICE Benjamin F. Fairless, president of the United States Steel Corporation of Delaware, announced Wednesday that his organization would open an executive office in Chicago. G. Cook Kimball, executive vice-president of the Carnegie-Illinois Steel Corporation, has been elected as an executive vice-president of the U. S. Steel of Delaware and will be in charge of the local office.
