SHIP CHALLED0N AND PORTERS MITE TO CHURCHILL DOWNS HAVRE DE- GRACE, Md., April 27.— W. E. Boeings Porters Mite, in charge of trainer T. Horning, and W. L. Branns Challedon, both of which are candidates for the Kentucky Derby, were loaded at the siding at Havre de Grace at noon Thursday for shipment to Churchill Downs. It was expected that Ariel Toy, from the H W. Jackson stable, would be in the consignment, but a last-minute change was made for the three-year-old son of Ariel and he was missing when the express car pulled out for Louisville. Porters Mite had his last Maryland trial at Havre de Grace Wednesday morning, while Challedon was worked one mile in 1:50 this morning before being loaded and was hard held in the work of eight furlongs.
