1 NARRAGANSETT PARK NOTES I e $ Trainer Jack Howard notified the track that he was shipping B. F. Whitakers Mythical King from New York for the Portsmouth Handicap Saturday. A cavalcade of horse vans left Maryland, . bound for Narragansett, where they are expected to arrive Friday afternoon. The shipments include E. K. Murray, five head; B. Chapman, two; J. G. Martin, five; A. Hullcoat, five; J. Lavery, two, and W.TE. Merion, five. Apprentice Ronald Nash is scheduled ft leave New York Friday night for Narragansett Park,- where on Saturday he will be aboard the B. F. Whitaker nomination for the Portsmouth Handicap, Mythical King. Mortimer Mahoney, in charge of the mu-tuels department, returned to Narragansett Park from Florida, where he testified before a. legislative committee.
