BOSCA, in close quarters going to the first turn, dropped back to last place and was outrun for half the distance, then moved up strongly to get through an opening next to the rail on the stretch turn to take command and drew out easily in the last eighth. KILOISE made a strong move on the outside after leaving the back stretch and raced well to the end to be easily best of the others. MASTER JEAN dropped back slightly when in rather tight quarters ncaring the stretch turn, but raced fairly well thereafter. CHARLOTTE ANN tired in the stretch. NEGO ELE had speed for three-quarters. QUICK GOLD raced, to the front at once to open up a good lead while making the pace and raced well to the end to hold REDCAR safe. The latter was caught in close quarters early and dropped back, but came strongly next to the rail to find an opening near the end and was pressing the winner. DOMONIC B was forced to race wide in the stretch, but finished close up. MERCED was a forward factor from the "start. CRYSTAL LOU dropped back when in close quarters after entering the stretch. FLYING HEIR moved up steadily while racing wide in the back stretch and, although going wide on the stretch turn, caught KHAYYAM an eighth out and held to the end in a drive. KHAYYAM set the pace under good rating, saved ground in the stretch and held on well. BON JADE was permitted to drop too far out of it in the early running and closed a gap when too late. SCEED tired a trifle in the stretch. CRYSTAL GLENN and PIPE DOWN were prominent for three-quarters. UNION GIRL, always within striking distance, of the leaders, found an opening on the inside nearing the stretch to take a cood lead when straightened for home and won easily. BRUSTIGERT dropped back early when his riders foot slipped out of a stirrup, but came again after the boy recovered the iron and finished fast and gamely. MERINA raced BONE BLACK into defeat and went fairly well to the finish. IRONESS was coing well at the end. LISA BELLE lost much ground by racing in the middle of the track throughout. BONE BLACK tired. JOE EATON was pulled up when he bled. Overweight — Union Girl, 1 pound; Merina, 1; Ironess, 3; Carbon Copy, 1.
