FIVE TO NAME RYDER CUP TEAM NEW YORK, N. Y., April 27.— Officials of the Professional Golfers Association announced yesterday that Walter Hagen, Leo Diegel, Olin Dutra, Ed Dudley and George Jacobus, president of the P. G. A., have been appointed on the selection committee to name the 1939 Ryder Cup team. Selections will be presented to the executive committee August 1. Matches with the British team will be held at Ponte Vedra Club, Ponte Vedra Beach, Fla., November IS and 19.
