2,000 GUINEAS WINNER Special Cablegram. NEWMARKET, England, April 27.— Blue Peter, favorite and carrying the racing banner of Lord Roseberry, made good in the renewal of the Two Thousand Guineas here yesterday. The victor, paying 5 to 1, finished the one mile course a length and a half in front of Admirals Walk, which raced for Sir John Jarvis. Third in the field of twenty-five was Fairstone, racing for Sir Abe Bailey, the one-legged South African sportsman. William Woodwards Hypnotist, only American horse in the field, was unplaced. Admirals Walk was quoted at 100 to 7, and Fairstone, which finished three-quarters of a length behind him, was a 13 to 2 chance. The Two Thousand Guineas is the first of five English classics. The second, the One Thousand Guineas, for three-year-old fillies, will be run here Friday. The other three classics are the Derby, Oaks and St. Leger.
