POMPOONS 1939 DEBUT HAVRE DE GRACE, Md., April 27.— It was learned that J. H. Louchheims Pom-1 poon, which is being pointed for the 0,000 Dixie Handicap at Pimlico, would make his first start in the Gittings Handicap, which will be run next Wednesday. Pompoon, which went amiss last season, has been training satisfactorily, according to trainer John Loftus.
