ODDESA BEAU SCORES AGAIN Repeats Previous Success at Beulah Park to Win Mobilgas Trophy From Pass Forward. GROVE CITY, Ohio, April 27, — L. E. Mc-Clellans Oddesa Beu registered his second success of the Beulah Park meeting when he raced over Pass Forward during the final furlong to an easy victory in the Mobilgas Trophy, sixth and best offering this afternoon. Zump raced into third place when Gay Bill, the pacemaker, gave up when entering the stretch. Joe Hoskins Ptolemy. • the favorite, trailed his field, never being a factor. Fred Shroder, of the Miller Oil Company, made the presentation of the handsome trophy to Mrs. L. E. McClellan at the conclusion of the race. Favorable weather prevailed and the races were staged over a slow, drying-out racing track. The attendance was up to the average for an off-day. Patsy Ruth, Ucanmaykit, Scottish Mary and Noajean all led for most of the trip in their respective races. South Gallant, however, came from behind during the stretch test to draw clear during the last hundred yards. Scottish Mary and Noajean were both outstanding favorites. The victories" were decidedly popular, but the success of Ucanmaykit came as a surprise, paying a large dividend after barely lasting.
