IZAR ZURI, away well and close to the pace from the start under steady restraint, responded when roused in the stretch run and held PLAY BY PLAY safe in the final drive. The latter was well up from the start and, under restraint, came to the outside in the stretch and finished with a rush. ELDEE, a forward factor from the start, saved ground all the way and had no mishaps. SUNPHANTOM was close up from the start and faltered in the stretch run. BUENA ORO, on the outside of the leaders, had no mishaps in the running. SEMAPHORE lacked early speed. FIRST ENTRY began slowly. TICKMARA quit in the stretch run. DESERTER was outrun the first turn of the field, but jumped well all the way, responded to severe • , pressure on the outside in the final eighth and outfinished CONSTRUCTOR in the final strides. The latter swerved repeatedly in the early running, bobbled at several of his fences, but saved ground the final quarter mile and held on with good courage. CANlO jumped well and had no mishaps in the running. HOMBURG was racing strongly when he fell at the seventh fence. TRAFFIC LIGHT bolted rounding the turn after taking the fifth fence and then lost rider on the flat after the sixth fence. AIRLY BEACON made a bad landing at the fourth fence and lost rider. EQUISTONE showed a flash of speed, but was bearing over toward the inside and blocked TITILATOR when the latter started through in the final quarter mile. TRYSTATE raced greenly from the start. PARASANG displayed high speed from the start while racing straight, raced PRINCE WAYGO and CREEPY MOUSE into defeat and then held ASP safe while under urging in the final sixteenth. The latter made up ground steadily on the inside and finished with determination. ROMAN FLAG was well up all the way and closed with determination. CREEPY MOUSE, fractious at the post, showed speed, but faltered suddenly in the final eighth. PRINCE WAYGO was well up from the start and had no excuses. CIRCUS raced greenly throughout. HOSTILITY was slow to begin and, outrun the first part, improved her position rounding the far turn, came to the outside entering the stretch, finished fast, wore down the leaders and drew away at the- end. WISE LADY was under mild restraint in the early running, moved up when urged on the outside •nd closed with determination. RED EYE forced the pace from the start, raced EARLY MORN into defeat and then held on with good courage. DESPONDENT was well up from the start on the inside and had no mishaps. CHARLOTTE GIRL dropped back after the start and came with a belated rush in the stretch run. OTRA lacked early speed and made up ground over tired horses. AIRACUDA had no mishaps in the running. KINDERGARTEN dwelt slightly at the start, moved up and then tired. GRANDIFLORA had no excuses. SOLAR FLIGHT quit badly. EARLY MORN had speed for three-quarters and then quit. SIXTH RACE 1 MILE. SCARLET RAIDER showed speed all the way, raced BASHI BAZOUK into defeat and had no mishaps. KENS REVENGE made up some cround at the end. BASHI BAZOUK showed speed while saving ground and quit badly in the final eighth. LANCEMAN made up some ground at the finish. BONNY IMP dropped back after the break. STEEL KNIGHT had no excuses.
