1 BEULAH PARK TURF NOTES | O : Four claims were deposited at Beulah Park for Betnabar in Wednesdays fourth race. In the draw Betnabar went to R. Dol-loway for 00. R. Dolloway will train the horse in the future. Walter Ritchie, starter on Quebec tracks, was a visitor and will remain for the balance of the meeting. He plans to go to North Randall from Beulah and then to Wheeling, W. Va., in the interest of Canadian meetings. Additions to the jockey colony were Jack Richard and Bob Dean, both of whom arrived from Churchill Downs. Approximately 250 of the better-class horses now being raced at Beulah Park will be shipped to North Randall for the thirty-three-day meeting, May 27 to July 4. These include Francesco, Bobs Boys, Saunderstowri and C-Note. North Randall officials are more than pleased with the manner in which their construction and improvement program is moving. The entire plant will be in readiness Saturday, one week before the meeting opens. Samuel C. Nuckols, presiding steward, will arrive here Monday to assume his duties. Julius G. Reeder, racing secretary, has been on the job for many weeks. Eleven colorbearers of the Calumet Farm, owned by Warren Wright, Jr., arrived at North Randall Wednesday.
