EXPECT STAKE STARS Dellor and Torchy Are Destined for Racing at Lincoln Fields. Parrish Star and Dixiana Campaigner Add Strength to Division at Crete — Clyde Van Dusens Charges. James W. Parrishs Dellor, winner of the Arlington Handicap in 1937 and one of the -best three-year-olds in the West that year, is anions the many top flight horses which will be seen under colors during the twenty-.seven-day meeting of the Lincoln Fields Jockey Club opening next Thursday. Dellor was extensively campaigned as a three-year-old and consistently raced with the best of his age. Some of those he met were War Admiral, Pompoon, Eagle Pass and Flying Scot and he usually gave a creditable account of himself. Dellor was inactive most of last year, but this spring was returned to training and ■hopes are held that now, as a five-year-old, he will be able to take his place among the leaders of the handicap division. The Parrish .horse is due here in a few days from Churchill Downs and he may be seen in competition many times during the summer on the Chicago circuit. EAGLE PASS INCLUDED. Eagle Pass, another top three-year-old of 1937 who did very little to distinguish himself last year, but who threatens to be heard from during the summer, also will be here •as a member of the powerful Valdina Farm stable. He, like Dellor, has been nominated for several of Lincoln Fields features and is ■sure to command healthy respect. He also is coming from Louisville.
